Dr. Madan Bali is an epitome of healthy living. He is 93 and still performs the toughest asanas with much perfection and ease. Being a Vedanta Scholar with a Doctorate in Complimentary Medicine, he is a man of wisdom when it comes to Yoga and its application in daily life. Dr. Bali was born in Northern India and was attracted to spirituality from a young age. He later moved to Canada as a Yogacharya and has been spreading the message of yoga from past 48 years. He played a major role in introducing Yoga in Montreal at several colleges and schools, as a part of the curriculum.
Dr. Madan Bali founded Yoga Bliss in 1969, which is an organization completely dedicated to yoga. Along with courses on various yoga styles, the organization also teaches the Dr. Bali Method, a holistic method of yoga formulated by Dr. Bali himself. This method covers all human physiological, psychological and philosophical elements and helps in developing physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. Dr. Bali has discovered a distinctive method of yoga postures, breathing techniques, bandhas, and kriyas, combined with a metaphysical approach for the enhancement of consciousness. Dr. Bali is an extraordinary master with extensive experience and expertise. He has dedicated his life for yoga and has made invaluable contributions to its heritage, which makes him a valuable asset to the yogic community.
